Redicote E-4875 NPF : Emulsifier for cationic “super-stable” slow-setting emulsions

Redicote E-4875 NPF is produced by Akzo Nobel Surface Chemistry  an emulsifier for cationic “super-stable” slow-setting emulsions suitable for slurry seal, stabilization, cold recycling in-place and in-plant, grave emulsion mix and dense cold mix.Proven emulsifier for cationic super-stable emulsions with a wide range of applications.

Benefits and Features

  • Low Use level: 0.8-1.2% is suitable for most applications.
  • Proven Performance: Based on established formulation used in a wide range of applications.
  • Slurry Seal: Plenty of mix time with the most reactive aggregates and at high temperatures
  • Easy Handling: Redicote E-4875 NPF has low viscosity and is completely water soluble.
  • Solvent-Free Dense-Graded Mixes: Good coating and extended workability in dense aggregate mixes, reclaimed materials or soils.
  • Does not contain NP Ethoxylates

Dosage

Cationic Slow Set Emulsion            0.8-2.0%          pH 2.0-5.0 Hydrochloric acid Emulsion quality is improved by using 0.1-0.3% calcium chloride in the emulsion recipe.

Storage and Handling

Redicote E-4875 NPF may be stored in carbon or stainless steel tanks. Bulk storage should be maintained at 20-40°C (68-104°F). Redicote E-4875 NPF is alkaline and may cause severe irritation or burns to skin and eyes. Protective goggles and gloves must be worn when handling this product. For further information consult the Safety Data Sheet.
