Rediset LQ-1102CE : Compaction aid for hot and warm mixes

Rediset LQ-1102CE is produced by Akzo Nobel Surface Chemistry a compaction aid for hot and warm mixes. It provides the best performance in terms of compaction and also as antistripping additive, it’s also a heat-stable adhesion promoter. Rediset LQ-1102CE allows a reduction in mixing and paving temperatures while providing built in anti-stripping effect.

Benefits and Features

  • Active Adhesion: Treated bitumen has the ability to coat damp aggregates, which ensures good coverage at lower mix temperatures.
  • Heat Stability: The performance is maintained after storage in hot bitumen.
  • Improved Workability and easier Compaction: The mixes remain workable to lower temperatures and are easier to compact, which enables cool weather paving, longer haul distances and faster paving operations.
  • Moisture Resistance: Treated bitumen shows exceptional adhesion and mixes meet requirements for moisture resistance. Additional adhesion promoter is not required.
